SEPTA Public Transit
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) provides public transportation, in the form of bus, subway and rail lines, to all of Philadelphia and its surrounding region.
Connections to SEPTA's Regional Rail Lines can be made at the Market East Station (12th & Market Streets). Connections to Amtrak and the Philadelphia International Airport can be made at the 30th Street Station (30th & Market Streets). Both of these important links in the SEPTA system can easily be reached by riding the Market-Frankford subway line westward from either the 2nd Street or 5th Street (Independence Hall) stations.

SEPTA's "One-Day Independence Pass" can be obtained at the Independence Visitor Center (6th & Market Streets, NE corner) or at Regional Rail Stations.
A special SEPTA map of the "Beyond the Bell" historical district is available, showing SEPTA bus and subway lines along with arrows noting traffic direction.

Displays and exhibits document the history of SEPTA and mass transportation in southeastern Pennsylvania.
